| ↬ | APPEARANCE Soppiko is rather pale with freckles appearing when in the sun for long periods of time. Her hair is normally black, but she has decided to dye it bleach blond hair. She is always busy, so often her roots go undone. It's very, very straight, unable to hold a curl. She's kept it untrimmed for a long time, leading to split ends. Because of the amount of hair she has, washing is rather difficult, making her hair kind of greasy all the time. She normally sports her hair in space buns, and when undone, her hair reaches her hips. Her face is rather squished and chubby, and her eyes are stereotypically Asian, squinted and brown. Her chubby baby face makes her look a bit underage. Her main outfit is a pair of pale, denim overalls, patched up with red and white polka-dotted scraps of fabric. Under is a short-sleeved button up with the same red and white polka-dotted fabric hemmed on the sleeves. She prefers not to wear shoes but will wear red sneakers if needed. She dons a deer antler headband with her favorite flowers forever preserved on them. On her chest is a scar, a reminder of her past surgery and trauma, and one on her calf from climbing a fence. | ||||||||
| ↬ | PERSONALITY Soppiko is a klutzy anti-romantic who said she would never fall in love again. After things went down, she taught herself to see only the worst in girls. She feigns kindness when talking to girls and reminds herself of all the bad traits they possess. While soppiko isn’t reserved, she’s awkward and clumsy, making her seem as though she is. She doesn’t think before she speaks, leading her to often drop sentences due to not finding the right words. People say she has two left feet; because of her clumsiness she often finds herself in rather compromising positions that don’t always flatter her. When it comes to people, she can’t find it in herself to be outwardly rude or fake. She is generally liked by everyone, but often keeps her true opinions to herself, occasionally accidentally letting them slip out. She’s patient, a trait she learned as a farmer. She’s a leader, not a follower, and never sticks by the rules, finding what works best for her. Despite her childlike appearance, she’s rather mature when it comes to her job. She keeps a strict schedule, knows her limits, and has an extensive knowledge on botanicals and care, writing her knowledge into personal journals she hopes to publish after her death. Although she is patient, whenever she complains, she only complains. she doesn’t seek out an option to fix it. She may be hardworking, but this is where she’s lacks in. | ||||||||

| ↬ | HISTORY She was born on [dob] into a self-sustaining family. Her family raised her up to be strong yet soft, physically and mentally. Her parents were loving and let her grow up independent. Her parents never felt the need for higher education and neither did she, since all their lives and throughout all their generations, they had been comfortable on the income provided from selling food and eating the food grown. She was never great at school anyway. The fields were her strong suit. That’s not to say her parents wouldn’t have supported her if she chose to pursue a different path. As a child, she never worked in the fields unless she wanted to. They strongly believed in the importance of free will, a philosophy that stuck with her into her adulthood. At age thirteen she found herself falling for the school's gorgeous jock, which doesn’t mean much considering their age, but it meant everything to her. She fell for her beautiful name, Ayana, her clear skin, her squeaky voice, her fluffy hair, the bit of pudge that escaped the band of her sweats. She could’ve gone on and on. And not only that, Ayana was kind. She said excuse me with an embarrassed flush on her face, she gently tapped shoulders to get past crowds. Soppiko fell hard. She loved all the little details about her. She desperately wanted to confess, to stop the coughing that kept her up at night, to slow the growth of the white roses on her chest, wanted the stems to stop constricting her heart, to simply be in a relationship. But this girl was never alone. People surrounded her every second they could. And who could blame them? She was the MVP and admired by all. She couldn’t handle the petals that suffocated her in class, or when she tried to eat. She had to confess. She felt as though she would’ve died if she didn’t. And she didn't. Soon the roses that bloomed through the collar of her shirt quickly rooted. Her heart was failing. The petals she always coughed out quickly choked her. The technology in this world saved her. | ||||||||
| ↬ | THE FLOWERS THAT GROW ON HER THROUGHOUT THE STORY She always has angelica growing under and out her sleeves (creativity) and dandelions and oxeye daisies growing on her feet (hard work + patience). When at her farm working, a single lady's mantle grows on top of her head (comfort) and red carnations join the dandelions and oxeye daisies on her feet (pride). When she begins falling for Dalia, a white carnation grows where her scar is (innocent love) and she begins coughing up white foxgloves (insecurity). When she begins to date Dalia, fern grows on her back, peaking out above the collar of her shirt (general love) and daisies grow in her hair (devoted love). | ||||||||

| Dalia Girlfriend: Oliver Best Friend: Ayana Ex-Crush: | Dalia is the first person Soppiko had truly fell in love with in a long time. Dalia eased Soppiko into their relationship, ensuring her comfort through and through. Oliver and Soppiko had been best friends ever since he moved into their town to begin his beekeeping business. They're rather affectionate for friends, cuddling often during sleepovers and kissing each other's cheeks and foreheads. Ayana was not Soppiko's first crush, but was definitely one of her most intense. She tried to help Soppiko in the hospital and tried to form a friendship, but Soppiko found it too painful. | ||||||||
