Abilities:
-Shapeshifter- Elysium has multiple different forms she can take. She can be a unicorn, a normal-looking human, or anything in-between (think like... unicorn-satyr or... i dunno. you know that dating sim with the horse boy?*) which allows her to walk more freely among humans than some others. (see Weaknesses for more drawbacks)
-Longevity- Elysium is incredibly long-lived. Despite her appearance as a human, she's hundreds of years old and could live for hundreds more years. She can't die of old age, or sickness.
-Purity and Healing- Elysium can purify food or water, cleaning any toxin out of it and freeing it from disease. She can also heal many diseases (Flu, Colds, whatever else), lift some curses, and dispel dark/evil magics (depending on the strength of the magic...). Her horn, if taken, could potentially even bring someone back from the dead (provided they died recently enough). this would, however, cost her her own magic and possibly her life, so she keeps that to herself.
*the horse boy thing is a joke i don't think she can do that. maybe for the bit though

Weaknesses: 
-Immutable Characteristics- Although she can hide by shapeshifting, any form she takes that doesn't show her horn is incredibly uncomfortable for her. When scared/nervous, or during a full moon, she has a harder time keeping a human form. She'll just disappear into the woods with no explanations during full moons so she can be comfortable.
-Solitary- Being around people for too long drains Elysium and makes it harder for her to maintain a human form or do any kind of purifying magic. She needs her alone time!!
-Enemy of the Lion- Elysium has trouble being around any feline or feline-like being. Any cats smaller than her seem to dislike her immensely and will often attack her if she gets close, and cat-people tend to feel something... off about her. 

Personality: 
        Elysium hates people telling her what to do or what to believe, and doesn't like asking others for help. Although its made her pretty self-reliant most of the time, it can make her act uncooperative and bull-headed, and sometimes she refuses help even when people mean well. She hates being vulnerable or showing any kind of 'weakness'. She's generally very aloof, often treating others with indifference. Elysium's not generally outright mean, unless someone is mean first, but she's definitely not friendly. Despite her coldness, she's a very passionate person. She doesn't often let anyone see it, but she genuinely loves the things she does! even if some of her interests are a bit macabre, and most people aren't interested in hearing about them. 

History: 
        El isn't used to settling down anywhere. A life on the move, mostly due to being hunted for being a unicorn, has kept her from putting roots down anywhere for very long. People always caught on to her- or caught up to her. She never stopped learning about her interests, though. A few years in one town learning about funerary rites/customs, and then a few years in a town as far away as she could get learning about morturary practices, and so on. This worked for her for a really long time, even if it prevented her from ever really having a place to call home. She'd heard whispers about Shadewood Hollow and the bubble, but she was so sure she could hide on her own that she never visited.... before now, at least. She took a moment to scope out the town, before she finally decided she should stay, at least for a little bit.

El changes her name every few centuries. just to keep it interesting
she's super interested in funerary practices worldwide and mortuary practices and the likes.
She's also got an interest in decay and decomposition. Girl who loves decomposers !! 
She loves secret codes and cryptography too. She's got a  bit of a weak spot for clever word play.
Elysium has a few degrees and such in mortuary science. some of them are even recent!
She also loves graveyards and taking care of them. She's not as well-versed in doing that, but she appreciates the people who do it.
She spends any time not working either wandering in the Graveyard or poking around in the woods.
She has vitiligo (generalized/nonsegmental). 
El carries an umbrella and dark sunglasses during the day. Unless it's raining, then she just carries the umbrella <3
