Ryu Shimigachi

The Ultimate Butler, Ryu works at the highest of noble households.

Ryu himself keeps himself to this standard as well. He is very formal, often addressing people as "Miss (last name)" or "Sir (last name)". Other than the formalities, Ryu is quite willing to help those in need. He is also great at fending off intruders, as he is a light sleeper and not afraid of much. Although, Ryu Shimigachi is not his real name: It is actually Evan Ellis.

Now, why the name change?
Well...It's complicated. The Ellis family had owned one of the largest butler network known to the world. However, the family was hit with scandal after scandal, damaging the Ellis name to the point that the business had to be sold off to another CEO to keep the business from taking a hit as well, before stepping away and refocusing on the family's issues.

Ryu was a member of that family, and had witnessed their downfall (as well as the loss of the business). He wanted to get back into the business, and his efficiency with working around the house was quite distinct. However, he feared that if he tried to enter back into the company, the stigma his family had recieved due to the scandals would follow him, and he would be rejected as a result. To aliviate that worry, Ryu applied to the business under a pen name (Ryu Shimigachi). Since he had good skill, he was hired as a butler into the service. From there, (and with his first client) his talent began to shine, and he was quite a chatter in the rich man's world. Soon enough, there were rich people trying to get Ryu to work for them, often competing with each other to try to win him over. Hope's Peak took notice of this chatter, and invited Ryu as the Ultimate Butler (with his pen name, but the school did know his real name thanks to talent scouts)
