Faeble comes off as aloof and very eccentric, but they are in fact quite a caring and patient individual. Due to their past they are very fearful towards humans and only ever trust the most gentle of children if even that. They have an intense love of nature, especially the raw kind untouched by humanity. They spend their days exploring the wilderness while singing about a world which was once home.
To other fumis, Faeble can be quite frightening. Although they are very benevolent in nature there is something very 'off' about them and it's not just the uncanny valley feeling a fumi would get seeing this one's stretched out body proportions. Fumis interact via scent signals through their vapor rather than vocal interaction, but Faeble's vapor causes fumis that inhale it to enter a mildly altered state of consciousness, which is very unnerving. It's comparable to if an odd-looking person started talking to you and the sound of their voice would start to things feel really off, like the lights looking way too bright, the grass swaying to make intricate and dizzying patterns, and the trees seeming to lean in towards you, breathing. All while this person babbles on in singsong about a world where day is night and night is day, and flowers can walk and suck the water out of you. Some fumis are actually obsessed with them and try to follow them where ever they travel, which can be difficult to do if Faeble decides to go invisible. They can usually still find him by listening closely to the ocarina-like music that he plays from his horn and glimmers of light that catch on Faeble's iridescent markings that still catch the light while the rest of the body is invisible.
BACKSTORY
An escaped test subject, they have startlingly clear memories of the fumi home planet, Erema, and the events leading to the abduction of fumis by human pioneers and more. However even they are unsure if they were actually an Eremian fumi themselves and these are their true memories, or if they are memories imposed on their mind by the mass amounts of aether which was used to warp their body and mind.

Faeble is blind, but seems perfectly aware of their surroundings. Perhaps echolocation?
The holes in their horn have sphincter muscles, allowing them to open/close independently. Faeble uses these to create ocarina-like music while blowing vapor through his horn.
Their vapor causes fumis who breathe it in to enter a mildly altered state of conciousness.
Can become invisible at will, but the white/yellow back and ear markings still catch the light in certain angles even while Faeble is otherwise invisible (has a sea-sapphire like effect)
