Quinn is a human living in a world where vampires and werewolves live in secret. Although it is kind of like an open secret? The police hunt vampires down in non vampire areas and werewolves have signed a treaty with the humans. One day he spots a vampire trying to turn his bestie behind the school premises and barely manages to get them off and escape with her but it was too late, she was already becoming a vampire. Quinn is the only friend she has left now and one she can confide in and share her worries and secrets as she navigates her new life in one of the cities for vampies. Quinn sometimes wishes he was a vampire too so he could join Falyn and they could explore together but little does he know he has pretty diluted werewolf blood meaning he can't be turned.
