Fenrir, the most well-known god of wolves, is the oldest currently known primordial being among them. He is known for his patience and fairness, having taken in Skoll and Hati when they were just pups, orphaned by a landslide. Fenrir loved his sons, but he was often away and absent from their lives, causing a rift to form between the three of them—especially between him and Skoll. It broke Fenrir’s heart to curse his sons in order to halt Ragnarok. Ever since the Sealing, Fenrir has not been seen, leaving his fate unknown to the wolves of Midgard.
