Young, rambunctious, free spirited, and fiercely devoted to her friends, Elsie embodies all the best that a dragon can be.  

Sure, she may still be working on her hunting skills, but at least she's got fire and flight down pat.

Though Elsie initially resents Audrey and Lorien's presence in her clan during their mission there, she fosters an unlikely friendship with Audrey.  The two go on to be best friends, a friendship that continues their entire lives.  Elsie still has a lot to learn about the world, but she understands one thing completely: friendship is worth protecting no matter what.
