Lucy Triton is one of the protagonists in Sheltercaged. Her chumhandle is ternaryGrandness. She is competitive to a fault and constantly attempts to pick fights and bets with others, but that is just her way to mask her deep inferiority complex. She appears to be blunt and unfriendly, but she's actually quite level-headed and beloved, and values her friendships over anything else. She sees competition as a way to connect with people on a deeper level, and while she is terrified of defeat, she'll even take on challenges she knows she has no chance of winning in order to please the challenger. In fact, despite all her posturing, she's actually kind of a doormat; in general, she prefers to let her friends have all the glory and will go out of her way to help them succeed. Perhaps, with time, she will learn how to love herself and not attach her self-worth to how well other people are doing...
