Vivienne

Vivienne's mother was a witch so Vivienne grew up looking up to her and wanting to be like her mom. From a young age, she was taught basic spells from her mother, but a large number of spells her mother refused to teach her. Any time she could, she would sneak into her mother's library and steal books to learn on her own. She loved experimenting on her own time, sneaking off to the nearby woods to practice. There was a large lake not far from the house where she would and flip through the books and write down the basics in her own little Grimoire she kept.

She got her hat from her mother when she was young, it was always a little too big for her, but her mother said she would grow into it. A few weeks after her 13th birthday she fell into the lake while she was watching the animals swim and play in the water.  While under the water something caught her leg, keeping her just under the surface. She blacked out not able to breathe or cast a spell while under.

Waking up coughing She looked around. She was laying on land next to the lake, it was much later middle of the night and she could hear people yelling in the distance for her. She laid there confused looking around. She wasn't sure if it was real or it was just a bad dream. Her mother ran up freaking out that she thought something bad had happened. The two just sat there for a few minutes her mother making sure everything was ok. Vivienne stood up grabbing her hat before she put it on though she found a small frog on the rim of the hat. She tried to let him jump off, but he didn't seem to want to leave. Her mother agreed to let her keep him.  She named the small frog "Raisin." because of the size of it at the time.

Through the incident, her mother learned she was stealing books and practicing spells. She wasn't mad she had done the same thing as a kid, and from here on she allowed Vivienne into the library whenever she wanted to learn in a safe environment. She stayed towards more easy spells now that she had the freedom to shuffle through the books, she was never good at the higher leveled spells as her mom wouldn't teach her but now she actually felt like she was progressing. A few years passed and her mother passed away from an illness. Vivienne was heartbroken, Once everything was settled, and her mother was laid to rest Vivienne made the decision to leave the house and go her own way in magic. She still holds the memory of her mother close to her heart.
