Small, spry, and malnourished, she wears tatters of her former clothing and has dirt coated into her skin. Her ears are oddly pointed. She has a lopsided smile and jagged teeth, long lashes, and one (purposefully) gouged out eye (because who's heard of a pirate with two functioning eyes? Not her.) Her hair is in shambles, as she pulls and tugs on it unconsciously. Most of her eyebrows are gone, and a good chunk of her hair is missing on the side of her head where her dominant hand more easily reaches. Luckily, she is often highly focused on her shipwork, so most of it has remained to grown long. Her uncontrolled compulsions don't cause her much anxiety, but occasionally get in the way of her eating habits (she can spend hours at a time in pulling trances). So she is a pretty skinny child.

Profile
Delusional girl who believes she is a pirate.
Backstory
She lived most of her childhood on her family's tour boat, moving between the same few ports (changing with the seasons). There, she was always surrounded by the lovely tourists that visited the ship, entertained by their countless stories and occasional presents as well as her loving parents. She was the delight of the ship, bringing levity and excitement wherever she played.
When she was ten years old, she suddenly and impulsively decided to leave the ship and start out on her own pirating career. Taking a few possessions and an emergency life raft, she let herself be swept off into the seas.

Ongoing Story
Lana lives on a small, uninhabited island where she washed up. She doesn't view herself as stranded; more like, she'll be fine once she has her ship! Then it's off to the 7 seas.
She is building a pirate ship. Having no tools and no knowledge of construction, it is slow going. She also conducts experiments on animals, trying to create the perfect animal companion (any pirate worth their salt needs a memorable animal companion). She somehow manages to survive and even thrive within the environment, but has become a bit deranged during her social isolation.
