Zoona Spirit

A young pegasus living on the edge of equestria. His parents were two earth ponies, always proud of their little Zoona. But like all other foals his age, he'd been trying everything to get his cutie mark, so he could be seen as an adult.

Maybe that's why he'd gone out into the thunderstorm from the dragonlands. If he could chase it back, they'd call him Zoona Weathertamer! But the young stallion was swept up and away by the storm.

His death was sudden and painless.

Zoona remembers none of this.

The Princess of Death, Princess Daren, told him all this as she carried him back towards her castle. She'd been in town to collect the souls of the elder mare who'd passed away, and heard that Zoona was missing.

That night, Daren presented Zoona with a choice. He could move on, which most ponies do, or he could stay as a ghost until he was ready to move on. He chose the latter, under the condition he could stay with Daren, and the small dragon he'd seen.

Zoona quickly became friends with the dragon, Rainbow Fire. Of the castle residents, only she and Daren could see him, so he enjoys making visual gags behind visitors to entertain the young dragon. (Such as funny faces, donkey ears, etc.)
