Kalmin is a cold leader, both literally and figuratively as he rules over the ice lands of hell. He doesn't seem to have much heart when dealing with more heavy subjects but knows what he's doing. He's charismatic enough not to drive people away but he always has that underlining distrust of people until he knows what their intentions are interacting with him. He's more carefree with those he trusts (which is very few people in his castle and fewer 'business' associates), but still on edge as he's been stabbed in the back so many times before.
When he's out of the castle (and more then likely hiding) he tries to act as normal as possible, coming off as a normal teenage boy just exploring a unknown land and means no threat to anyone.

...Kalmin often sneaks out of his mansion to explore the world beyond, he usually only stays out for a few hours but has proved to be a slippery guy even against people who know him
He's blind in his left eye and keeps it covered as it's useless for sight
He used to have aright horn but it was broken off and never healed
He does very poorly in hotter weather and as such rarely leaves the icey hell area
Was not first in line to take over, but after his older brothers and father were killed he was the only one that could and has fallen into his role rather well
