What with recent events, Isao withdrew back into his shell, and now dons an emotionless mask. He won't approach someone unless it's necessary, and keeps any interaction swift and to the point. With the only two real friends he had now dead, he doesn't make much effort to maintain relationships with other acquaintances, because he doesn't want to lose anyone else, nor does he want to share his pain. He's more comfortable locking everything up and dealing with it on his own.

One of his best traits is his loyalty, and though it can be hard to earn, once achieved, Isao will consistently provide support, even if it's usually from afar. He never doubts his choices and rarely goes back on his word. Even if to others his actions appear wrong, he'll continue his course if he knows he's right. Contrary to popular belief, Isao holds no evil intentions, has not once harmed another villager outside of rank exams, and his course of action has always been to support the village. His foundation of belief is too strong to be shaken by the opinions of others.
