The Year : 612AD  
A Lone Survivor, Forgetting all but his Honor

It was the year 612, and Shield Commander Logan Jace was a young soldier at sea. He was fighting to defend a people, and a country that he cared deeply for, from something that threatened to end them entirely. That was about all he could remember however, after being thrown violently from the ship during a frigid May storm, he found himself washed up on a small beach somewhere against the ocean. A head injury seemed to have taken most of his memories, but what little he did remember was that he was a fighter, a lover, and a honest man. He remembered his training, and a few bits and pieces from his time at sea with his brothers-in-arms. He remembered the terrifying storm that had sent him to the beach, and he remembered his name.  As time passed however, hunger, blood loss and dehydration threatened to take everything, and would of too, had not it been for Somber (194) , who found him and transformed him into who he is today.


His memories could not be saved, and all he knows of himself is that he will do anything it takes to protect those dear to him, and his name. He does not mind being called Logan, but in dreams and echoes he remembers his friends calling him by his last name usually during training, and has adopted that moniker as his main name.  He holds the highest respect for Somber, and views her as his hero, a honorable and precious one who had saved him in his moment of peril. He is eternally grateful, and has a very strong friendship with her. His trespasser nature came from the state of pain he was in during transformation. He awoke as an esk in fear and grief, unable to remember why though. The pain had faded away, but the echo of that pain rattled through him. The fear and bewilderment passed quickly for him, but he still finds himself feeling haunted by a past he can't quite remember. As a common esk, Jace was small, but sturdy. He tried his best to defend those around him, even if he didn't fully understand why.
As his confusion and desire to feel whole again grew, his friend Ayla came to his rescue, re-transforming him into who he is today. As he became an abnormal, he became much larger, with freedom to size himself as he saw fit, and he gained freedom to use his driftwood at will as well. Not only physical changes though, to his joy, he also regained his memories from when he was a human. He could remember everything, his mind and heart were finally at peace.
