Cast

Cast is a Starlight, also known as a Space bat. Starlights are an original species by the DeviantArt user GhostfaceNikol.  (GhostfaceNikol)

Cast is a bad flyer, due to the droopiness of the goo underneath his arms. He wishes that one day he will be able to fly in space with the other Starlights, as now he is Earthbound because he cannot fly high enough to escape the Earth's atmosphere. He is a dreamer, and sometimes he finds himself lost in his thoughts. He has a mark on his cheek, and although it in fact represents a moon, he sees it as a boat that shows his will to travel. 

Due to his childish personality, some might see him as naive. This is not the case, and he is more aware of the situations at hand than most people think. He finds it easier to ignore or not mention certain people and certain things said, so he does not have to confront others. He is very talkative and can babble on quite a bit, and he laughs at everything. 

He has no "home" per se, but more often than not he sleeps at the marketplace of a small village, and the villagers don't mind too much when he takes some of their fruit and sweets. He travels quite often, practicing his flying. He has no friends, as the villagers see him as a nuisance, their hospitality, and temper dropping by the second, and he cannot keep up with the other Starlights who are always zooming through the sky.

This all changes when he stumbles into the cave of Rosa Verde.
