Arlo was born and raised in Terrafin Bay but after graduating High School he decided to pursue his passion for ballet at the nearby Bayville Academy of Arts. College ain't cheap, though. Student Loans can really rack up. On top of an increasing debt they contracted the Eventide Sickness near the very start of their Senior year. They stopped going to classes, stopped dancing, stopped going out with friends. Arlo effectively locked himself away in his college dorm for a handful of months where he experienced severe hallucinations and made a hand full of attempts to [ REDACTED ]. Concerned friends didn't know what was going on, many not even knowing of the sickness, and made attempts to help Arlo while juggling their own school issues. Finally one contacted his father whom immediately came to bring him home under the guise of a sudden decision to take a gap year.
Once back in Terrafin Bay, Arlo's father managed to convince his son to take The Cure.
They didn't realize how it would change his body, how it would make it difficult to walk without a mobility aid much less dance...
Arlo current resides in the T.R.I. Public Branch's dorms. They attend physical therapy to work towards re-strengthening their legs as well as regular therapy for their mental health.
Mobility aids that he utilizes are primarily a walker or cane, though sometimes a wheelchair may be needed.
