Howl
Pentimento boosts Attack stats by letting out a loud howl to rouse herself and any of her allies. Mostly used for communication from a distance.
Stealth Rock
Pentimento creates levitating stones which can be set up as traps underneath opponents. Opposing Pokémon that step on any of them sustain a chip of damage.
Rock Tomb
Pentimento raises multiple boulders from beneath the ground, which she hurls at the target. The boulders cut off some movement, lowering the target's Speed.
Crunch
Pentimento bares her sharp fangs and charges at the opponent, leaving them with multiple bites. May lower the opponent's Defense. Often hesitates on using her teeth in a violent manner.
Pentimento comes across as unapproachable and somewhat of a loner, but that is mostly due to her tendency to get lost in her own thoughts and the serious manner she presents herself with. In a way, seeming unapproachable is her goal, as Pentimento prefers to not have anyone grow too close to her. Less due to her not liking other Pokémon, but moreso with the thought that she doesn't believe in "misery loves company", unwilling to share what cryptic burdens she bears with anyone else. She would rather suffer in silence. Yet, she's not judgemental in the slightest and is very willing to talk to anyone who approaches her first. Her replies in small talk may appear curt, but she is honest and sympathetic.
The Lycanroc wards a sacred garden, the Devout Garden, and its forest, the Wayward Forest beyond. She seems rather serious about her task, rarely ever moving away from her post or the forest. "I do this to repent," she would claim without further explanation. Pentimento had various unusual encounters due to her job, of which many involved having to help escort dazed Pokémon out of the sacred grounds.
While most Pokémon she guides out eventually snap out of their daze, her most curious case is the odd color-changing Girafarig Sibyl, who cannot recollect a lot about themself. Though Pentimento suspects that their tail knows more than they let on. Despite her avoiding getting too close to anyone, Sibyl seemed oblivious to it and manages to grow closer to her, visiting the Lycanroc rather frequently.
