DESCRIPTION
Vdova has an lean, athletic build, and is a physically fit adult female capable of holding her own in a fight. As a result of the experimental genetic splicing, she has four black-oilslick coloured spider pincers - two over her head and two tucked against her lower back. Her skin tone is pale gray, and she has two pairs of eyes, which are red with indistinct pupils. She also has a pair of canine fangs which are venomous enough to kill an adult male at full dosage, and are capable of causing paralysis to various degrees at lesser doses. She also possesses clawed fingers.
Vdova is highly proficient with knives, and able to remain extremely still and silent, to the point that people can be right next to her in the dark and not notice her presence. Her pincers can be used for climbing/latching on to things, and for lightning-fast attacks when in unarmed combat. Highly recommended to deploy as a sniper or assassin to utilize her pinpoint hearing and ability to see in the dark.
Her appearance resembles Uta from Tokyo Ghoul. She does a very goth theme - her clothing choice usually consists of black turtlenecks and cargo pants. She has two lower lip piercings (two pointy studs, silver, on the left side) and chin-length brunette hair, which she keeps shaved short on the left side. She also has a red hourglass tattooed on her shoulder.
PERSONALITY
She is initially hostile to strangers, most notably males, if approached directly and without invitation. Even if approached on her own terms, Vdova is curt and defensive, if not outright prickly and snappish. As such, her circle of acquaintances and friends are smaller than most, but it doesn't appear to bother her. Interactions with the select few she has accepted as friends generally involve various levels of cool detachment, tolerance, and a wicked, albeit rather black sense of humour.
As a result of her past emotional trauma, Vdova has a strong dislike for males in general, and has a sadistic streak when dealing with them and the male ego. While usually content to leave things at a withering glare, there have been records of fights breaking out when new recruits attempt to challenge the established pecking order. Based on eyewitness reports, all the fights Vdova is a participant in involved forcing her (male) opponent into physical submission, followed by verbal, gender-based humiliation. Formal attempts to address this behaviour have yet to yield any significant results.
PERSONAL HISTORY
Had a poor relationship with family, and was jilted badly by an ex-lover in her late teens whom she thought was "the One". Heartbroken and mentally destroyed, she signed up with a experimental division and volunteered herself as a DNA splicing test subject, choosing the black widow spider for its symbolism. The experiment was successful, and she was eventually drafted into combat ops as a sniper for her usefulness (she was legally considered dead and the property of the government once she signed the experimental contract).
ORIENTATION/INTERPERSONAL
Vdova is bisexual - although due to her history she is leery of men in most aspects, and tends to be more dominant, sadistic and forceful where such trysts are involved, if at all. She acts normally and more gently towards female lovers.
She swore off romance and acts like she doesn't care for anyone, but she still does sometimes and hates herself for it. She remains deeply hurt and betrayed towards her ex-lover, holds a grudge, and is still unable to forgive him even after years. She reacts badly when people mention him or if she is reminded of him.
