Max isn't great at listening, or staying on topic, but he supports who you are and what you love. And even though you've tried to explain the basic rules of Beach Volleyball like ten times to him, and you still find have to haul him back from outer space, that doesn't mean he isn't gonna show up and cheer for you during the Big Game. Or the small game. He's very dedicated.

Max works at a local tabletop store where he and Simone met as they are coworkers. He really enjoys her presence because she keeps the day interesting when business is slow, and he thinks she's very funny.
Simone once invited him to a Sports Related Party, which he spent smoking cigarettes in the bathroom despite being in a public space, and also meeting Thijs who is his bff4ever now. Thijs isn't aware of that particular status, but Max is one of the few people who moves at the right speed for him.

He lives with his mom, who he loves a lot and would prefer not to leave by herself. Max's been in some relationships, but none of them have worked out, which is fine.
