Species and subspecies information:
about finned glowbacks, proper:
Individuals may be seen in all sorts of habitats, but most are commonly seen in wetlands, jungles, swamps, and other warm, lush biomes. They are excellent stalkers, swimmers, and are agile runners. They have 6 legs and 4 eyes. The fins on the head and face are used for expressions; they are often observed making "chirps" in greeting or "growls" in defense. They live in natural caves or dens constructed out of the resources around them.
about celestials:
extremely rare, celestial glowbacks are completely nocturnal and exclusive to cold, wet biomes, making them difficult to track. no two celestials have the same pattern of "star" marks, which may shift in intensity according to mood, body temperature, or otherwise unknown causes.
