Acheris lived a plain life amongst their elf neighbors, feeling the breeze on their beak as they walked home alone each night to the siren call of the old gods, gods everyone told them to not look into. Hasty and prideful, after an incident they caused involving their childhood friend, they sought the power they had been searching for years; the power of the old gods.
After weeks of walking to the highest mountain, they discovered a shrine, and made contact with Selix- and a pact that would harm the whole of the Pharyenian continent for centuries to come.
Wicked and cruel, Acheris Selix overthrew and runs a cult dedicated to them- or at least, the powers they stole. Highly intelligent and highly terrible, they should have never gotten even a fraction of the powers they have.
