Overview
The leader of the self run supernatural expert agency, Detective Weird, Edgar is one who specializes in the paranormal.
Edgar was born the oldest to a family of monster hunters of which the MaCarius are one of the most respected in history.
Following the death of his parents, the loss of his brother, and being forced to be "normal" in an otherwise paranormal world, Edgar has rose to take the place of his father as a monster hunter- if he could get behind the idea of hunting a monster and not befriending them.
Notes
- Edgar is often found with his friends and allies: Darrien Scott and Penelope Meyer. The three often work their way into various missions at Edgar's request. Edgar is currenly wanted by the Cerberus Agency: ALIVE and UNHAMED. His partners are subject to agents discretion.
- A rising "MaCarius Hunter", Edgar has access to the private and secretive notes handed through generations of hunters with key notes regarding creatures, extermination, and habitation. As a result, he has a vast knowledge of dangerous creatures
that he refuses to employ to hunt. - As a MaCarius, Edgar also has access to the infamous "Heritage Trunk". An object of magic that houses vastily large and dangerous heirlooms collected by MaCarius hunters throughout time. Highlights include: A Holy Grail, Excaliber, Possessed and Haunted Objects, Enchanted Weapons and a Jar of Bees.
- Finally, Edgar has seemed to inherit the infamous "MaCarius Gaze" noted in his grey eyes. As a carrier of this gene, Edgar is able to relinquish memories in order to form a "bond" with monsters and control them. While previous hunters would utilize this technique to freeze their targets for elimination, Edgar instead employs this tactic to pull cryptids out of their frenzy in an attempt to empathize with them.
All agents are to cease hunting and capture immediately should they cross paths. This wanted status takes priority.

Darrien Scott
Childhood Friend
He won't admit it, but Edgar is head over heels in love with Darrien. He worries this information may ruin their friendship and as such values that he has Darrien as such a close friend more. Darrien has always been their for Edgar and never once made him feel bad for his depression. While Darrien's... certainly skeptical of all this, he does want what is best for Edgar and often tags along at Edgar's request.
Penny Meyer
Childhood Friend
As kids, Edgar and Darrien were very defensive of Penny. When her father kicked her out and cut her off for transitioning, Edgar and his mom took her in like family. As an adult now, Penny often plays into Edgar's antics (Despite Darrien warning her not to) and wants to see Edgar happy and doing what he loves... often warning him not to jump to conclusions regarding cryptids so fast.
