Tumba - Sprite of Death

Tumba, a "Church Grim" who was buried as a Harpy Eagle. Mictecacihuatl carried his spirit from the dirt and gave him stronger abilities to better protect the lost souls that would soon join him. The villagers find comfort in his appearance, both in life and death, and outsiders who stray too close are chased away, for fear they would destroy the graves or rob from them. 

In his life, he was well loved, seeing the rise of a new village from his caretakers. He died happily of old age for a harpy eagle and was the first buried in a fresh graveyard. His form took place late in the night, The Lady of the Dead granting him with odd, paranormal abilities to guard the future of the graves from those who intend it harm.
