Yajû is a very reckless and brutal dragon. He likes to use his powers to destroy environment and does not hold back to do so with fire. Only other dragons, that do not want their habitats being roasted, can stop him from doing so. Even though he likes to battle, he will give up quickly when realizing not having a chance to win. After a rampage, he falls asleep for several years.
