Dharuna is the "Goddess of Balance" who sleeps on the Domain of Hers, a floating mass of land thats suppose to help her sleep, somewhere far off in the universe. She only sleeps because she believes that the universe is at balance due to her powers.

Thousands of years ago, Dharuna seeked to fufill her purpose and used her power to balance the universe. By balancing the universe, she would balance all the good and evil to make it equal and keep it that way. Humans, cannot keep balance by themselves, and so they must be balanced too, by limiting all their free will. not just humans, but any creatures that show free will must be limited.

At the time of this happening, Dharuna had a trusted servant. The servant disliked Dharuna's plans for the universe and by careful planning, tricked Dharuna to believe that everything her servant was doing was for her best. She built the Domain of Hers for Dharuna to sleep in when she was done, the Domain keeping her asleep so she wouldn't wake up and find that her servant undid her Balancing, allowing those creatures to have free will. If Dharuna ever woke up, her original plan would be put into action. Balancing all good and evil, at whatever cost.
