Some might call Voghen a Grey Jedi, altough a true Jedi he never was. Once a promising padawan in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, he renounced to his training to seek and learn by himself all the aspects of the Force. Eventually, his Hubris was his doom.
Voghen is afflicted by a sith curse he triggered himself, trying to unravel the mysteries of the Sith Alchemy. The power he failed to control force him to shapeshift as a dark side gardian, a creature of the likes of the terrentatek or Tukkatas who guard sith lord's tombs.
After years of research, patience and balance he get to somewhat control his condition. He's now forced to shapeshif only every few weeks, or under a strong emotion. But his lef arm sports the scar of his foly, as it's unable to ever change back completely.
Voghen lives in solitude for twenty years in the jungle of Rishii, a remote planet in the outer edge of the galaxy.
