Neva Aava

BACKSTORY

Neva is a 20-year-old air genasi monk who was abandoned by their parents when they were a baby. The truth of the matter is that their mother died in childbirth when Neva was born, because the parents did not expect the amount of crystals growing on her head. It is not known if Neva's father is a Djinni, or if the Genasi traits have been dormant for generations. The father could not bear the grief of having lost his beloved.

He left Neva on the stairs of a local monastery where she was trained to be a monk. With rigorous training and discipline, Neva has trained themself to control their mood swings that are as intense as the weather. The monks of the monastery trade their protection to goods and services such as food and laundry with the residents of Teapot Town. Neva is good friends with the dwarven lady Aronia and her family.

CHARACTER APPEARANCE

On the sides of her undercut, Neva has crystals that grow from her scalp. They are not luminous, but they are diamond-like in colour. They're more opaque than diamonds would be, however. One cannot figure out many secondary sex characteristics from Neva. The monk robes obscure her body shape well, and all one can really see from it is that they are strong and sinewy. Neva wears the traditional robes of a young monk, prayer beads around her neck to help her with meditation, and a pair of very light slipper-like shoes. She also wraps her hands when she practices boxing. Neva's skin is cool to the touch and her voice is breathy or giggly, depending on her mood.
