STORY

 TW/CW:  Abandonment

 "Am I just a toy to you, my love? Just a thing to play with and then throw away?"

Chi-Chis were immersive toys similar to Furbies and "Tattletail" toys. These toys were made to react and respond to the owner's voices with impressive accuracy and adaptive AI! This made Chi-Chi a perfect companion for children of all ages. However, at some point, they became too sentient and borderline obsessive to be friends and protect. This led to issues with parents, Chi-Chi toys would act as usual but would easily freak out and become paranoid if they were forgotten- such as if a child was paying attention to something else, like a TV, or had forgotten to press the buttons on the control watch that day. This escalated to the point where these toys had to be discontinued, and the parent company swept the whole situation with them under the rug. Chi-Chis remained sentient even after they were discarded, however, constantly looking for someone to wear their bracelet and become the next victim of their platonic affections.

• Chi-Chi is a bat!
• Chi-Chi's ears are speakers and can play music through them!
• Chi-Chis came in many personality types. This one in particular is shy and bashful!
