Isse is a man who much prefers to be forgotten than to be noticed. Quiet and reserved he tends to be extremely soft spoken and submissive to more stronger willed people. Raised and trained to be subserviant to those above him he has a habit of being extremely humble and self sacrificing if it means the happiness or success of others. Despite having quite an array of talents he much prefers to keep to himself and not draw attention unless he absolutely has to. Isse has a very kind soul and can be rather empathetic toward others. When it comes to friendship he is very caring and loyal, a friend to follow at your heels where ever you may go.

Due to being on the run from less than savory people Isse is very skittish and often nervous or paranoid. He is always looking over his shoulder, terrified that one day he'll recognize a face he doesn't wish to see. For this fact he is very closed off when it comes to talking about himself and his past, not wanting people to really know where he is truly from or why he is here. If you press too hard for information he is more likely to flee than to tell you. He is very 'flight' in a fight or flight situation. For this fact he is also very scared to become too deeply attached to anyone, be it in friendship or romance. He tries his best to not get too close to people but often fails given his soft nature.

Working as a back alley prostitute as a means to get by Isse is known by his regular clients for being the perfect subserviant bed mate. Whether you wish to be extremely rough, to indulge in fetishes, or just be gentle Isse will not say a single word in object. He is very ashamed of his 'profession' despite having previously been a professional Oiran, feeling disgusted with himself having to resort to such sleazy ways of getting money. But he feels he has little choice and is just grateful for what clients he has that are good people.

History

Isse was raised in House Musa, a house reknown in Kugane for training and grooming some of the best Oirans in the Eastern lands. As was tradition Isse was given to the house at a young age so he has little recollection of his biological family. He was raised with rigorous training and lessons on how to be a perfect Oiran. He was taught not only manners but how to play several instruments, how to dance and to sing, and how to read fortunes; all skills meant to be used to entertain patrons and generous benefactors. As he entered adulthood he was also taught sexual lessons, made to be a talented and worthy sexual partner for potential clients. Given his docile nature he was trained to be the perfect submissive lover.

Once his training was finished Isse became an official Geisha and it was not long before he attracted the eyes of a powerful local crime boss who was a regular patron of the house. He was quickly 'claimed' by the man and meant to serve only him as his personal lover and attendant. Isse was, originally, delighted to have been so quickly claimed by such a wealthy client. However soon that happiness turned to horror as he was exposed to the awful things that the boss and his gang did. The man also became very overbearing, abusive, and demanding of Isse. It became a toxic and abusive relationship that often left Isse bruised and battered at the end of the night feeling utterly worthless. He was miserable and he hated it. The situation only grew worse as tension arose between he and the boss, leading to the man threatening to kill Isse if he ever thought to tell people about the gang's ongoings or if he tried to leave.

Despite the threat Isse felt that it was best if he fled, knowing if he stayed he would one day end up dead or injured beyond healing. So with a brief bit of courage he found himself running away from the man, the gang, House Musa, and from Kugane overall. With little to his name and only the clothes on his back he ran as far as he could. Eventually he found himself stumbling into the Azim Steppes where the Xaela resided. Hoping for refuge there he found himself scorned by many of the tribes until he was finally embraced by the Malaguld and given safe haven in their home. For the first time in his life he truly experienced kindness and felt embraced. He took the name Malaguld in honor of his joining the tribe, abandoning the Muse name. He loved the tribe, finally feeling like he belonged and that he had a home.

But eventually word reached him that Musa and his former client's gang were still looking for him. Fearing that he would bring ill tidings to the tribe he had grown to love so much Isse decided it was better to just flee one again than to risk bringing such bad people to the doorstep of the Malaguld. So once more he ran away, this time bound for Thanalan. He hoped that being so far away would prevent him from being found. When he arrived in Ul'dah however he was once again having to start his life over completely with little to his name. So as a means to get by he has taken up giving fortune readings on the streets. And when that is not enough to get by on he sells his body as it is the only other talent he feels that he had worth paying for. It is not a glamorous life by any means and he is quite poor currently but at least he is safe. He hopes.

Mostly recently Isse has had the surprise of reconnecting with his former best friend from his time in the Malaguld tribe, Khasar. The two had been extremely close before, but ultimately were separated when Isse had to flee without warning. Now both out of the Steppes they have found one another and rekindled their affections and currently live together trying to get by in the struggles of living in Ul'dah. Isse is terrified still of the Musa and finding him, of hurting Khasar, but he has found some peace finally in the other's companionship. Love, for the first time genuinely in his life.
