BACKGROUND

Hatched into a wealthy and important family, even before his first offering Riley didn't really like all the fine foods his family would hoard for itself and its kids' first offering. All the attempts to feed him the prime drinks and the carefully selected fruits were in vain, the child stubbornly refusing, knowing deep down that their lavish lifestyle and food choice wasn't for him. 

When the family was starting to give up on him, already anticipating a disappeared child or a soon-to-be locked up trickster, he sneaked out and wandered until stumbling upon a humble bakery; attracted by the heavenly smell, Riley found a simple baked good: a fresh out of oven cinnamon roll.

It was a simple sweet, with nothing more than some vanilla frosting on top of it, and yet it was just better than anything his family had tried to shove down his throat. He had finally found his offering.

With a newfound filling and personality, he happily headed back home... only to find out how disappointed his family was for choosing such a common and lowly offering over everything they had for him. How dared he to refuse his own family like that?

Riley soon became the black sheep of the family. The decision to just get out of there was an easy one- why stay if he wasn't wanted, after all?

Freedom and fun are so much better anyways.
