   Charlie is a simple creature, he runs mostly on instinct but there is a sliver of sentience in there, however not enough for him to be inherently good or bad. He loves food above all else and has a ravenous hunger that is not easily satiated. If anyone enters his lake without an offering, they will become his lunch before their body has barely even hit the water. To those who bring him offerings however, he can be considered a friend and will gladly hitch them a ride across his lake; but there's a catch. You need to constantly feed this big fella, if you run out of food while he's taking you across, CRUNCH!

   It's unknown truly where Charlie came from, or what his name actually is. The name he currently has was given to a passerby named Davy, who saw the creature and immediately said "Hmmm, you look like a 'Charlie' to me." and the name kind of stuck. For an unknown reason, though he did not have an offering, Charlie spared Davy and allowed him passage across the lake. Some wonder if Charlie has some connection to the lost Elder Primal of the sea, but then if that's the case.... could Davy be too?
