Nyx (pronounced "nicks") is a Female Hellhound, standing roughly 5'11. She has predominantly dark fur, with a white underbelly and markings, as well as bold red and teal accents. Both of her ears are nicked heavily (hence her name) - from previous fights. She has teal, mohawk-like hair that extends to the back of her neck, "X' markings behind her ears and on her back, as well as a very flowing, fluffy tail. Her physical traits resemble a mix of wolf, hyena and fox traits. Nyx has a stocky and strong, yet average build - Her stance quite grounded and confident. She often has a resting scowl, reinforcing her commonly aggressive nature. She is visibly striking and overall, she is loyal to those she serves.  

Nyx usually wears a sharp pinstripe suit, with a tie, projecting her position and authority. She also may wear a dark trench coat or long, studded black leather jacket, along with solid colored trousers. She may occasionally wear a fedora. When more casual or not on the job, She usually wears a basic tank top, and jeans/pants that are ripped along the legs. Other accessories can include a teal, spiked collar or silver jewelry.  

Nyx has a "true name" but has never revealed it. Her past is mysterious and tragic. She hides plenty of hurt. She was basically born into a Hellhound fighting ring, never knowing her parents and since she came-of-age, she was trained and forced to fight for entertainment. It was traumatic to kill her own kind as a young teen. She was beaten routinely, trained into a killing machine, and often separated from her siblings. A huge riot and fire eventually freed her and her only living sister, Nyssa. Both escaped separately, and didn't reunite for years. Due to her past, Nyx is quite detached from most things or fearful of showing most affection, because she was beaten for showing her empathy. She does truly love her sister.

Helluva Boss Storyline:

At some point, Nyx was discovered by Crimson, and accepted into his mafia. He practically took her off the streets, as she was a struggling stray in the Greed ring. Nyx was shown to be a natural at being a mobster, always armed with a pistol or knife - however, she tends to get too trigger-happy and not put her weapons away properly, or rather shooting her gun off just because - resulting in unplanned kills. Even though she has this flaw, Crimson still keeps her around since she's as resourceful overall, and a trained killer. Nyx also vibes well with Alessio and most of her fellow mafia peers. Nyx is very loyal to Crimson and her work.

Hazbin Hotel Storyline:

After her escape from the Hellhound fighting ring, Nyx found herself in the Pride ring, struggling as a stray on the streets. When she won a street fight, She was discovered by Vox, impressed by her ferocity and potentially her "starring looks". Nyx was offered to be part of Vox Tek, though she seemed "too much" for certain roles, so she was eventually made into a personal assistant to Vox, Valentino and Velvette - as well as a receptionist at Vox Tek, and even a personal security guard to any of the Vees at public outings or events like press conferences. Due to her striking appearance, she will also get involved with Valentino's films - usually not "the star" but rather replacing an extra who didn't show up (or was killed). Nyx is very loyal to the Vees, mainly Vox. Part of her cannot deny she finds him attractive, which makes her more devoted to serving him. Nyx gets along the most with Vox and Velvette, while Valentino can be more impatient or ruthless to her.
