I am a *huge* sucker for fish with lips, ergo, here is Thomas! Thomas loves bugs, making "art" (a mess), and solving puzzles. He doesn't talk, and only mimes!
I originally made him to be the main character for a children's book, "Thomas and His Bucket Full of Something", wherein Thomas has a Mary-Poppins-esque bucket that is actually a portal to god-knows-where and all kind of weird stuff comes through it. But it always seems to provide *exactly* what you need...
Thomas has a best friend, Ladybird. She is quite eccentric and blames it on her hippie parents. His other best friend is Bukkit, an ornery squid who disproves of... mostly everything. But he sticks to anything, and is very useful when thrown!
I'm planning on making a short story featuring Thomas for a gift for my young niece and nephew. I'm really excited, drawing Thomas always puts me in a good mood (:
