Design Notes:

• Design inspired by Calliopius laevisculus (an amphipod)
• Bright red crossed eyes (PHYSICALLY CANNOT UNCROSS HIS EYES!)
• Short, fat fish tail (looks like a goldfish cracker is biting his butt)
• Long siamese face with sharply pointed ears
• Flame point siamese
• Gold dappling and brown stripes down back
• Iridescent clear wings with gold sparkles
• Brown mane with gold glitter
• Nose, tongue, inner ears, and paw pads are all the same pink

Character Notes:

• Plays a pacifist barbarian in D&D... just to prove that he can??
• He likes to think he's a deep thinker, but often his "profound perspectives" are just... him being contrary for no particular reason.
• He's one of Those Vegetarians. You know the sort. The kind who looks down on meat-eaters and drives even fellow vegetarians up a wall with how often he talks about it. (How is a cat vegetarian to begin with? He's a magical fairy cat, don't question it.)
• He LOVES to debate and can turn virtually any conversation into a debate, much to the dismay of his family.
• He's not just full of hot air, though. Beneath his contrary, pretentious exterior is a cat who genuinely wants to make the world a better place and is trying to learn the skills to do so.
• He spent most of his childhood traveling around with his nomadic dad on what basically amounted to a never-ending tourist trip. As a teenager, he decided the nomad life wasn't for him and moved in with his half sisters' mom in Morel Hollow, but he still loves his dad and joins him for frequent camping trips and history-themed sightseeing excursions when school isn't in session.
• He may seem like more of an "indoors only" sort to strangers and acquaintances, but anyone who knows Tisias well knows he loves nature, especially the ocean.
• Perhaps unsurprisingly, he really struggles to get along with, well... almost everyone. Once the initial "wow he's smart and handsome!" effect wears off, most folks find him, uh... somewhat insufferable. He tells himself this is because he's more enlightened than them and they just don't understand, but actually he wishes he had more friends and got along better with his family. He's just not quite sure how to do so without abandoning his identity and ideals. He's still young, though -- he's bound to figure it out eventually.
