Personality: Nervous most of the time. Tends to not be outspoken and rather rebels authority through her actions. Is good at sneaking but is awful at conversations. Tries to think a situation through as she’s running into it, making her a bit reckless, sometimes almost costing her life. Regrets signing up for the job and wishes she could of leave while she had the chance.

Story: Maria grew up in Colorado with her family. She got a doctorate and was soon hired to work at Mt.Massive asylum as one of the doctors there. Her arrival was during the time when Murkoff was making the switch to sending their female patients and staff to another location, and Maria became one of the few female staff workers still there. Curious to what the other staff were talking about and what this project walrider is, Maria one day snuck to the lower part of the facility. She was soon caught and locked away in one of the small rooms staff were staying in. Very soon afterwards, the Walrider and inmates escaped, and Maria was forced to flee into the vents. She spent the whole night dodging inmates and other Murkoff workers alike, until she reached the front exit. She escaped the asylum and disappeared. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
