Cyrus is one of Tanith's children, and the only one who hatched with a fully human appearance. As he's grown older he has developed the ability to give himself some dragon traits, though it is unknown if he will ever be able to take on a full dragon form, or any of the Serpent traits that come from Tanith's bloodline.

Each hatching was special, something for the family to remember for years to come. Only two hatchings though have caused so much chatter, his and that of one of his sisters. Her's shocking in its explosive nature, his a shock in his appearance. It was harder for him to break out of his shell, not having the same physical advantages of his siblings. But he did have a good strong kick, and the attention of the adults as his egg rocked like mad. When a piece of the shell broke away revealing a small human shaped foot they gave what help they could so he could escape his egg at last. Being the second egg to hatch of the clutch he was part of meant little to him. He was still a Prince, still strong, and he grew up knowing it. As he grew, slowly he began to show his abilities, magics, and some ability to change his form. The latter used to give himself a tail and horns when he wishes. With each day he practiced what his birth granted him, and grew in them. Still young he is no-where near perfect with these things, though he is strong. Haughty with most anyone outside of the family, and often found standing toe to toe with those of his siblings who think they are better than him in some form. There is only one whom he does show more than just some affection, and that is his clutch brother. While they do butt heads, he does care about him and will step in to assist him if he feels it is warranted.
He and his brother were the only two in their clutch, and they were cursed in their own way by the ancients. It took some time for everyone to figure it out, Cyrus the opposing balance for his brother when it came to this strange curse. While the presence of his brother Korin caused everyone to feel rather frisky, and turn infertile. He on the other hand would kill all such drive while causing everyone to become far more fertile and virile than they normally would be. It was a strange balance, and though the brothers do care for each other it was rare for the family, or anyone really, to see them together. Part of the curse causing things to split the two anytime someone was headed their way so that there would be no balance around others, only when they were alone.
