Coast was found by Lottie while she was making her routine check across the ocean. It is not known where exactly Coast came from, who his parents were, or why he was alone at sea. Yogi and Lottie decided to take Coast in and raise him as their own.

The beach is Coast's favorite place to go, as he loves to swim, make sand castles, and meet up with friends. He can also often be found running around Lottie's inn.
