Before the apocalypse, Jocelyn was enjoying her final year of high school -- captain of the Varsity Softball team, straight A student, well-liked. -- but at the end of her Senior year loomed an adult life full of sacrifice. She wasn't looking forward to it.

There are a few things she isn't a fan of: the mess than comes along with killing zombies, the lack of access to showers and hygene products. And it gets lonely wandering the wastes without anyone to talk to; she keeps a sharp eye out for any other survivors who need help.

But putting aside the death and stuff, the apocalypse actually isn't all that bad. It's like long-term, high-stakes camping. Jocelyn feels a bit bad to think so, but she's grateful for the challenge and the endless possibilities the end of the world brings.
