A Cleric of Light, Eva (short for Evangeline) is a kind-hearted girl, new to life outside of temple walls. Almost everything the world has to offer is new to her. She's spirited, sweet, and stands her ground with a naive, optimistic outlook. While she may not be too confident of herself, she knows that, with her friends by her side, she can certainly find what she seeks most.

Over her journey, she has battled those who have done wrong, spread the good word of Apollo, performed in a circus, and enhanced talents she never indulged in within her days at the temple. Though with all of the things she's learned about the world and herself, she still longs to find her true purpose.

Eva's most dangerous journey comes to an end after the defeat of a fearsome god. Her own god, Apollo, gives a final sacrifice to bless Eva, in which he gives his life for her. After the loss of her god, the Ember Guard, many cities and citizens, her own arm, and her temple, she finds comfort in the survival of her friends. 

With no home to return to, she travels with her partner, Renovar, to "figure things out along the way." They visit many places, including an old friend (and retired god) who tells them that due to Apollo's blessing and Renovar's immense magical power, they may both ascend to godhood in time. They make a pact to ascend at the same time, when they're ready, and set off. Though some issues arise after the fact, Eva vows to do what she can to walk through life together.

Evangeline's story is far from over. She's excited to make new memories on this plane and the next, especially with her friends and favorite boy by her side.
