Amalthea is a quiet soul, often drifting about her forest like the will-o-wisp who follow her about. With a soft voice and a great passion to protect those who live within the Enchanted Woods, she finds it hard to get close to those outside of its territory as the world outside becomes more and more modern. Usually she spends her days tending to the creatures of myth within it and when she is not she’s tucked away into her cottage reading or taking care of her flowers. Those who are closest to her know she’s very chatty once she trusts someone and is often leaving little gifts or singing little songs to the other Guardians of the Woods but few passerbys would believe such a thing. Stoic with outsiders and fierce against those of dark magic and ill intent, she’d draw her blade on a trespasser the moment they entered her domain.

With a kind heart and a gentle hand, when things need to be dealt with within the Glade it is Thea the creatures of the Enchanted Wood turn to. Everything from missing crops to larger disputes of land, she always tries her best to give fair judgment in the matter. Some even praise her for being the kindest Guardian they have had in many cycles but she never talks down on the work the other Guardians have done. She cares deeply for those she resides over and is often seen among them instead of in a temple like a ruler instead of a guardian.
Reserved
While she may be seen often among the residents of the Glade or be spotted flying high above the forest trees, few could actually tell you anything personal about Thea. Quiet within large groups of people and soft spoken as she is, only a handful of people have ever gotten to know her past polite smiles and a kind gesture. While she may know everything who lives within her Glade, few know her at all and she preserfers it this way as she sees opening up as a weakness she can not afford with the regular population.
Naive
One of her largest weaknesses is always up to debate for those who don’t see her as the gracious dragon riding guardian she has claimed to be. While she is not innocent as she has lived many years, she often believes the best of people until they show her otherwise. This has allowed many people to slight her or even triggered a few attacks on the Glade by humans who thought the guardian to be weak but she has always held her blade strong in these moments and done what must be done. That does not mean she does not repeat this cycle, causing others to wonder if she is still too inexperienced to guard the Glade.
About
Born under a winter moon in one of the few deadly blizzards the Glade has ever had, Amalthea was named after the moonlight that filled the cave her parents had taken shelter in.

Links
Silvanus and Amalthea meet when they were both on duty protecting the Glade during one of the rare attacks on the Enchanted Woods. Afterwards they grew close while healing up those who had gotten injured and one conversation turned into many. Before they knew it they were happily in love and have been together ever since, protecting not only the Glade but each other. Thea considers him the stars to her moonlight nights and treasures him deeply.
Somewhere between an older sister or mentor, Thea often looks up to Cressida for guidance as she was the previous Guardian of the Glade. Though they sometimes have arguments about how things should be done as they have both new and old ideals, she values her deeply and misses her whenever she leaves the Glade to visit the human realm.
A dragon she met once she returned home from her adventures, the dragon known as Starblaze had tried to take her Glade as his new domain. Though at first they attempted battle, they quickly discovered they had much in common and struck up a friendship instead with tube agreement that the Glade could be home to both of them. Now they spend every day together, patrolling or flying high through the skies and it’s rare to see them without one another as they have been bound to each other for life.
