Born to a pair of noble belfs, Resnik was soon taken from them by a band of pirates just a few weeks after his birth. The pirates wanted to hold him for ransom, hoping he'd net them a fair few gold. His parents, however, didn't pay up and the pirates decided he wasn't worth the trouble and left him in some back alley of Booty Bay. Resnik was found soon enough, his wails attracting the attention of a different band of pirates, who then decided to take him in, name him and raise him. Despite everything, he was a strong kid, growing up big and healthy within this loud and chaotic group of pirates. His new family treated him well enough, but he decided to head out on his own when he grew old enough. He wanted to build his own crew, his own notorious reputation. Resnik did just that. He managed to gather a small crew, build a reputation for himself and gather more hopeful folks to join his ranks.
After a while of having fun with that, Resnik got a little bored. He wanted to do something else for a while. He gave his crew a short mischevious goodbye, telling them to look after everything until he was back and went off. He managed to sneak his way into outland, tracking Kaelthas' group of blood elves that were ordered there. He sweet talked his way into Illidan's ranks upon arrival, joining the other prospective Demon Hunters. He trained hard and partied harder, doing well for himself within the ranks. When it came time to perform his binding ritual, he went out and found the biggest dog he could, a Fel Beast. He fought hard with the demon, losing his swords somewhere in the battle and wrestling it into submission with his bare hands. His binding ritual was successful, though painful, he laughed off the struggles he had and came out stronger than ever, if looking more demonic.
After that, Resnik strolled through the rest of the Demon Hunter tale like he didn't have a care in the world. A lot of his fellow Demon Hunters resented his filppant attitude but that never fazed him. Anyone who challenged him to a fight would come out incredibly worse for wear or dead anyway, so they didn't often do so. The higher Illidari ranks were at a loss on how to handle him, because despite his attitude he was incredibly strong and a huge asset in battle. Mostly they just left him to his own devices.
At the end of the Legion, when Illidan didn't come back, Resnik decided it was time to head back to his crew. Despite his demonic apperance, they recognised him almost immediatley. They were weary, but took him back as their captain without much struggle. That's what he's doing now, Travelling the open seas with his trusted crew, heading out at times to hunt bounties on his own to stock up some spare coin. Mostly just doing his darndest to have a blast.
Resnik's skin is dark and tinted green, he has a fel scar running down his right eye. He wears an eyepatch because he thinks its funny because its redundant. His canines are large and sharp, he has a small horn protruding from his nose and two horns on the top of his head.
