Appearance

Standing at about 5’10” Jun is of medium build with dark hair that fades to grey (with a light grey streak on the left side of his bangs). His bangs cover the front of his face just above the eyes, with longer chunks of hair falling in front of his ears stopping just short of his chin. He is fair skinned with no markings but instead sports several piercings on his face and ears. He’s seen mostly wearing an oversized purple jacket with baggy grey pants and dark fingerless gloves that go up to the elbow. His most notable feature being the black fox ears, tail, and silver slit-pupil eyes he gained after his soul combined with a fox spirit.

Personality

Jun could be easily described as Stubborn, hot-headed and Rebellious by others. He was always a clever kid and as he grew up he used those skills to his advantage. Preferring to think his way out of most situations, Although isn't afraid to fight if it came to it. His stubbornness in combination with is innate fearless nature can make for a dangerous combo. It's often the cause of most of the danger he gets into, but it also manages to be what keeps him alive in the harsh city streets where he spends most of his time.

History

from a very early age Jun was always a bit of a delinquent and a trouble maker. He had a knack for sneaking around undetected and used that to his advantage to steal valuable items. Initially this hobby was for his own entertainment, taking precious or highly protected items just to prove that he could. Eventually he turned this skill into a trade, stealing valuable items and selling them in the black market. It was a lucrative business he had perfected for a good chunk of his life, and he always managed to get away from his heists unscathed. Eventually his luck would run out when an item he steals, meant to go to a major crime syndicate, is caught in his possession by the very people it was meant for. They catch him and nearly kill him on the spot until his sister, a member, convinces the others to spare him and instead recruit him for his innate thieving skills. With no other choice besides death, Jun decides to accept the offer and becomes one of the syndicates best Procurers. After working for them for a while Jun gains their trust and is sent on missions more valuable to the group. For a moment everything seemed to be going fairly well for Jun, and for only a short time he believed that he was actually lucky to have stolen that item from the syndicate. Of course, the seemingly good times were cut short when a deal goes sour and Jun is caught in the crossfires of a Gangwar. While attempting to make a trade with another gang, Jun and his crew are betrayed and a fight breaks out in the old abandoned shrine they planned to meet at. In the confusion of the conflict Jun is mortally wounded and left to die on the cold ruins of the shrine.

It’s then in that short quiet moment of death, whether it be fate or pure luck, an errant fox spirit hiding out in the shrine latches onto Jun, bringing him back to life and granting him new traits and abilities. Jun is left spending the next several hours wondering what exactly had happened to him. With little more than his new foxy features to help solve his case he attempts to return to his crew’s hideout. Assimilating into his old life unfortunately proved more difficult than intended, and was nearly left lost and aimless until a young Shiba spirit shows up claiming responsibility for the fox spirit. Jun learns this Shiba spirit’s name is Shiori (©Ocarinia) and the Fox spirit that now takes refuge in his body is a fugitive meant to be on trial for crimes it committed to the greater gods of the realm. The two discover that this spirit’s intrusion into Jun’s body fused his soul to the creature and that separating them isn’t something that could be easily done. To Jun’s own frustrations he agrees to travel with Shirori in an attempt to find a way to separate the fox spirit from Jun so he can return to his normal life and she can present the wanted spirit to her family. On their journey the two encounter creatures of the high realm and Jun learns more about the spiritual world he had chosen to ignore in his modern living.
