Marcel, who usually goes by his surname Kellar, is a mercenary for hire, He doesn't assassinate humans, he is only available for monsters.
He likes to think he's a badass but he can't help cracking jokes, being a clumsy goof and not taking anything too seriously. He's good at his job but his carefree nature has made people look for someone else to take their request.
He got involved with Esker M. on a casual romantic basis after being contracted to eliminate her. He deemed she was not beast enough to warrant the execution (he was thirsty) and they have communicated regularly ever since. They're kinda like BFFWBs. She'll even occasionally accompany him on his jobs.
