Meigui’s a kind lady who's generous to a fault. She's warm-hearted and compassionate to everyone she meets, naively assuming the best of people even in the face of less-than-savoury individuals, which makes her generally kind of easy to take advantage of. She can be quite overemotional, with a particular habit of crying when she's happy, to the frequent alarm of those around her.

A caring, supportive mother to all three of her daughters, she encourages them all to follow their own ideals and aspirations as much as they like, so long as they look out for one another. In her pride, she's admittedly more than a tad mollycoddling towards them, causing them continuous embarrassment and frustration at her hand.

Background

Meigui, an orphan, spent a lot of her youth in tragic solitude. Although her big heart had a lot of love to give, she never found a comfortable place in her life to do so. Though she took on a motherly role to younger children at her orphanage home, time after time she would have to tearfully see them off as they'd be adopted one by one. When faced with opportunities to be adopted herself, she'd selflessly decline in place of recommending one of her companions, hoping to see them find happiness and remain to look after the rest.

Eventually she became too old to stay on and had to go out into the world alone, which saw her sink into a bit of a depression. She struggled to adapt mentally to being by herself and her social skills began to deteriorate. However, after some years, fate saw her come to compassionately adopt three orphaned newborns, despite the discouragement of those around her due to her young age and the babies' varying species. Regardless of the difficulties that these factors proved to give her, her strong heart won out and she raised her new children happily, finally feeling like she had found her place in life.
