Abel is a chipper and friendly guy who probably hasn't been angry a day in his life. He's loving and loud and proud of himself. Not much gets him down and you can always count on him to have a smile for you. He's a pretty naïve and not exactly bright, but for him- ignorance is truly bliss.

He's a stickler for rules, and you'll never catch him doing anything to stir the pot. He doesn't really like to question things and prefers to go with the flow wherever possible. He isn't a pushover- and he won't do anything he doesn't like, but he'll never go out of his way to pick a fight over anything. He's pretty stubborn about wildlife care, more than anything else.

He spends a lot of his free time donated to volunteer work, cleaning up the forest or helping in rescue searches and education. He doesn't really like being alone and will do everything possible to stay in the company of someone. 

Abel grew up in the forests with his parents, both forest rangers who adored the natural world and imparted that on their son. He grew up learning to live in harmony with the woods around him, and how to always seek to leave them better than when he arrived.

As a teen, he ran into bears during a feeding season while swimming (from a distance, of course) and this started his love of the creature. He has a deep reverence for them, and dedicated his studies and attention on trying to protect them from civilized society that would harm them.

He does a lot of presentations to schools to inform local youth about the animal, along with presenting data and statistics of them frequently to cities and information seekers alike as needed. He tags and monitors individuals in order to study and assist with researching the local population.
