Nox - The Tenebrous Hexcrafter

Plenty of people have embraced darkness, but Nox has done it literally.

A warlock, Nox cared little for the well known array of possible patrons, and instead chose to sign her pact with a more obscure entity, Primordial Darkness. No mere shadow or shade, it was the oldest of the old gods, a slumbering giant older than Death and further than the stars, its name marred on a ruined altar built at the very bottom of the world.

The deal is pretty simple, Nox gets unfathomable powers in exchange for summoning aspects of The Darkness into the material plane, where it mostly just writhes. These powers granted her an extra level though, ascension into the higher planes and access to the innumerable worlds of the multiverse. Not that she cares to use it all that much.

Generally reserved, Nox follows a sort of conscious disengagement. She’s not disenchanted or nihilistic, she’s rather in-touch with her emotions, all things considered, but she simply chooses not to show them much. Nox is self aware enough to not get lost in her own apathy. And she’s been trying to quit smoking for years, not that she’s told anyone. It hasn’t always been the best attitude though, especially in some of her past relationships . Nox is trying.
