My interpretation of the hero from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky. Her real name is Mabel Scarlett, but she's always gone by the nickname Paradox. Growing up around only Pokemon, Paradox learned how to survive in a harsh world. She is blind in one eye, and has several scars. She's been through a lot, and due to the heavy trauma, has difficulty with (is triggered by, but I'm still trying to figure out how to write someone with accurate PTSD) stopped clocks, storms- especially stormy seas- and possession / mentions of possessing people.
As a baby, Paradox was found by a newly dead Yamask. Unsure what to do, the Yamask dumped her on the first Pokemon who already knew how to take care of a child- Sceptile. Paradox grew up as Grovyle's sister. When they found out she was much weaker than everyone else- the source of her Houndoom burn scar, unable to be healed by any berry- they made her an outfit to wear out of the cloth Mimikyu used. Things got worse as time went on- or, well, as it didn't go on. When Sceptile died and was stuck in the state of dying, Paradox had had enough and decided to start a revolution. The goal was simple- find a Pokemon that could time travel, and then travel back and change the past. Grovyle joined her. The two of them found Celebi in Paradise City, and the rest is history.
She's dating Cassidy (the partner from the same games she's from) and thinks gods suck. Specifically, she thinks they're acting high and mighty and should be brought down to mortals' level. Uses "Ore." (Yes, I know she's a girl. The website Legends of Localization says that Kumatora and 13-Amp use ore, and they're both girls.) She can play guitar, and shes likes to read- back in the post-apoc future, she used to tell stories about the past that she read in books to her resistance teammates. She was really good at doing voices, but she lost that talent when she turned into a Charmander.
