Ben

Entrusted to protect an old man and his home until his death, after he finally dies Ben finds out the man has a granddaughter. Ben had hoped to inherit the old man's will and live a life of peace, so he does not look forward to looking after another person, especially not one who is a 12 year old girl. He tries his best, or it seems to be that way. Strangely, the girl gets into danger very often, almost daily, and it's always Ben who saves her at the last minute.
