Lapinou used to live with her bioligical parent until a fire accident happened at their house, because she was so young she panicked and ran away with her feral form, making her unable to transform back into human/oid for awhile, because of that she was caught by a hunter and was getting sold. Although thankfully she got bought by someone who noticed she wasnt actually a "real" bunny.

Then        

Lapinou was then bought by her current guardian, she was soon adopted trough legal actions and now is part of Leverette family , she also met Misa which she later found out was her adopted sibling, she had to dye her hair blonde so Misa wouldnt get to much question as to why they're so different from each other even though they were both adopted, Lapinou is a really honest girl but she stills struggles to open up about her feelings abit.

Now 

Alot of things happened ever since she got adopted, because of the feeling of guilt and loyalty she never really had a dream to pursue anything, aslong as she can live she is ok with it, tho one time Lulu mentioned something about helping him doing designing work which Lapi always helped them when she isnt lazy. But today Lapi was super lazy and said that she didnt want to do it, Lulu jokingly said that this is the least she could do to pay them back, because of how Lapi is always feeling a sense of responsibility and her pride is high. Even though Lulu always did those type of joke, but Lapi took it seriously and this time Lapi decided that she'll repay everything Lulu did and that's when she Decided being Magical girl was a good option, and because Misa was also deciding to be a Magical girl she decided it's a good opportunity to take care of her sister.
