Balazs Amaro is a solitary person who has a difficult time getting along with others, and therefore tends to surround himself with nobody. He is very bluntly honest and often doesn't understand when he upsets others, as he values straightforwardness very highly and can shrug off complaints made towards him with moderate ease. He also tends to be snarky and sarcastic in normal conversations, making him an irritating person to spend much time around.
Even though he can be lethargic and unpleasant to talk to, he is a good man with a kind heart. He hates violence and often acts protectively towards other people before he knows he's doing it. Add in a sharp mind, flair for tactics, and a great sense of direction, and Balazs is a more than reliable perso to travel alongside. Additionally, he is also very in tune with nature and tries to avoid upsetting the local wildlife if he can, except to hunt for food. He has a pet gyrfalcon named Aethir who he adores more than anything else in the world.

Balazs was born to a normal auri family in a small town community known as Viridi Vita, and for a time, lived with his mother, father, and older sister. He was always awkward around other people, and had a hard time expressing himself. When he was a little over sixteen years old, his mother passed away, and his family fell into shambles.
When he was about nineteen, Balazs ran away from home, having grown suffocated by the constant fighting and the use of his mother's name as a household weapon to get him to shape up. He traveled the countryside for some time, then moved outwards until he stumbled across an abandoned cottage deep within the Tacitus Woods. Finding that he enjoyed the quiet and the solitude, and having learned all manner of combat from his hometown when he was younger, he decided to settle down in the forest and live out the rest of his life alone. His only companion, he eventually decided, would be his gyrfalcon that he rescued from a trap and trained as a scout and hunter.
One day, however, someone new enters the Tacitus Woods. Balazs becomes introduced to Cineris Flamma, a young girl who carries the torch of adventure deep inside her heart. Although he begrudgingly helps her at first, she ends up convincing him to leave his world of comfort behind and stop giving up on his life. Over the course of his journey, Balazs hopes to regain some of the wonder and love for the world that he used to have.

- He is trained in the bow, knife fighting, and even a little swordplay. Although he's quick on his feet, though, he tends to make a lot of mistakes when fighting up close.

Although he finds Cineris to be a handful, and gets frustrated with how little she listens to him sometimes, Balazs can't help but admire her for being so energetic and full of life. He begrudgingly takes it upon himself to keep her out of danger whenever he can.
Balazs meets Favilla during his journeys, and after teaming up for a short while to get through some trouble together, the two of them start to become quite close. He grows to love Favilla's unwavering sense of justice and his desire to change the world for the better.
